إِحْسَانًا
Allah enjoins upon man to be good to his parents.
وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ إِحۡسَٰنًاۖ
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment.
Quran, Al-Ahqaf 46:15
This verse reminds us that kindness to parents is a divine command. It highlights the mother's efforts: she carries the child with hardship and gives birth with hardship. This attention shows how important it is to recognize their dedication. In our daily lives, we can show this kindness through simple acts: listening, helping, or speaking gently. Gratitude to our parents is a way to thank Allah for their care.
Today, call or visit your parents and say a kind word or do a concrete favor for them.
