حَمِيَّة
This verse contrasts the fury of ignorance with the serenity that Allah grants.
Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and imposed upon them the word of righteousness.
Quran, Al-Fath 48:26
In this verse, Allah describes two attitudes: that of the disbelievers, who put into their hearts the fury of ignorance, and that of the believers, who receive divine tranquillity and are bound to a word of righteousness. This word distinguishes and elevates them. In our daily lives, we can feel this fury when we are upset. The verse invites us to recognize that true strength does not come from outbursts, but from the serenity that Allah grants to those who trust Him. We can cultivate this serenity by turning to Him.
Today, as soon as you feel anger rising, stop and say inwardly: "I seek refuge with Allah from all fury."
