This verse reminds us that our diversity is an opportunity to know one another, not to divide.
We made you into peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.
Quran, Al-Hujuraat 49:13
Allah teaches us that He created humans into peoples and tribes. The purpose is not superiority, but mutual knowledge. True worth before Him is neither race nor tribe, but righteousness. In our daily lives, we meet people who are different. This verse invites us to discover them with respect, instead of judging. Every encounter is a chance to learn.
Today, start a conversation with someone from a different culture, to learn something about them.
