تَسْبِيح
This verse invites us to glorify Allah at specific times of the day.
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَأَدۡبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
And during part of the night, glorify Him, and after prostrations.
Quran, Qaaf 50:40
Verse 40 of Surah Qaf follows a call to patience and praise before sunrise and sunset. Here, Allah asks to glorify Him also during the night and after prostrations. This associates glorification with moments of prayer and reflection. In our daily lives, we can incorporate these moments of remembrance by being aware of Allah's presence, whether during our prayers or in the stillness of the night. This helps us stay connected to Him throughout the day.
Today, after a prostration (in prayer or even alone), take a moment to say silently or softly: 'SubhanAllah' (Glory be to Allah).
