إِكْرَامُ الضَّيْفِ
This verse illustrates an attitude of generosity and kindness towards others.
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
He placed it near them, then said: "Will you not eat?"
Quran, Adh-Dhaariyat 51:27
In this passage, a person prepares a meal and presents it to others, inviting them to eat. The act of bringing the food closer and the question asked show sincere care for others' well-being. The immediate context mentions a fat calf, highlighting the quality of what is offered. This attitude can inspire us daily: sharing what we have, even simply, with those around us. The invitation to eat is a simple gesture that builds bonds and shows our consideration.
Today, offer a meal or a snack to someone, simply saying: "Come eat with me."
