ذِكْرَى
This verse calls to remind, for the reminder benefits the believers.
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.
Quran, Adh-Dhaariyat 51:55
In this verse, Allah commands to remind. The reminder is conveying divine teachings. It benefits the believers, meaning it is good for them. The previous verse speaks of turning away from those who reject, but here, the command to remind remains valid for those who are ready to listen. In our daily lives, we can share a verse or a useful saying with a loved one. It does not require being a scholar. Simply reminding with kindness can help someone remember Allah.
