صَبْر
This verse calls for patience and glorification of Allah.
وَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَاۖ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise.
Quran, At-Tur 52:48
In this verse, Allah addresses His Prophet and commands him to patiently endure what his Lord has decreed. He reminds him that he is constantly under His watch, which is a source of comfort. The verse associates patience with glorifying Allah, especially when getting up. We can apply this teaching by remaining patient in the face of difficulties, remembering that Allah sees everything. Additionally, we can make a habit of glorifying Him when we get up, whether in the morning or after a nap.
Today, when you get up, say: 'SubhanAllah wa bihamdih' (Glory be to Allah and to Him is the praise).
