آلَاء
This verse challenges our attitude toward Allah's favors.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ
Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt?
Quran, An-Najm 53:55
In this verse, Allah poses a rhetorical question: "Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt?" He invites us to recognize that all favors come from Him. The previous verse mentions punishment, and the following one mentions warning. Thus, even amid warnings, the question about favors remains central. This question urges us to reflect: instead of doubting, we can become aware of all that Allah gives us. Today, we can choose to see these favors and appreciate them.
Take a moment to list three favors of Allah in your life and say mentally: "Alhamdulillah."
