زُبُر
This verse reminds us that every action is written down.
وَكُلُّ شَيۡءٖ فَعَلُوهُ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ
And everything they did is in written records.
Quran, Al-Qamar 54:52
Verse 52 of Surah Al-Qamar states that everything people do is recorded in books. The following verse clarifies that nothing is forgotten, whether small or great. This connects to the previous verse about the destruction of past peoples: their deeds were known. Realizing that our actions are recorded can help us act with care. It should not cause anxiety, but rather encourage us to do our best, with humility.
Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'Would I be proud if this action were recorded?'
