الصدقة
This verse encourages sincere charity by presenting it as a loan made to Allah.
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلۡمُصَّدِّقَٰتِ وَأَقۡرَضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعَفُ لَهُمۡ وَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٞ كَرِيمٞ
Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.
Quran, Al-Hadid 57:18
The verse brings together men and women who give charity. Their giving is compared to a loan to Allah, because it is given without expecting an immediate return. Allah promises to multiply it and grant a noble reward. In our daily lives, every act of generosity, even a small one, can be seen as this sincere loan. It invites us to give with our hearts, without seeking recognition from others.
Today, give something (time, a smile, help) without expecting anything in return, intending it for Allah.
