الْمِيزَان
This verse reminds us why the messengers received the Book and the balance.
وَأَنزَلۡنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ
And We sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice.
Quran, Al-Hadid 57:25
In this verse, Allah mentions that He sent His messengers with clear proofs, and with them the Scripture and the balance. The balance symbolizes fairness in our decisions and relationships. The goal is for people to establish justice among themselves. In daily life, we can apply this by weighing our words and actions. Before judging or acting, let us ask ourselves: is this fair? This helps us live in harmony with others.
Today, before making a decision, ask yourself: 'Does this uphold justice?' and act accordingly.
