نَمِيمَة
This verse warns us against slander and backbiting.
هَمَّازٖ مَّشَّآءِۭ بِنَمِيمٖ

Quran, Al-Qalam 68:11
In this passage, Allah describes a despicable person as a 'scorner' and one who 'goes about with malicious gossip'. The word namīma refers to carrying words to cause discord. The verse associates these faults with other bad behaviors, like preventing good and transgressing. Spreading words, even if true, can hurt and divide. In our daily life, we can choose not to repeat a negative remark heard about someone. This preserves relationships and trust.
Today, if you hear a negative remark about someone, decide not to repeat it.
