صَبْر
This verse teaches us to endure Allah's decree with patience.
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ ٱلۡحُوتِ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ وَهُوَ مَكۡظُومٞ
Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed.
Quran, Al-Qalam 68:48
Allah commands the Prophet to be patient with His judgment. He mentions Jonah, who called out to God in distress. This reminder shows the importance of patience, even in difficult times. In our lives, we may be tempted to become impatient when things don't go our way. This verse invites us to trust Allah's plan and remain hopeful in His mercy.
Today, when you feel rushed or upset, take a minute to say: 'Allah knows what is best for me' and take a deep breath.
