مغفرة
This verse links Allah's forgiveness to a delay granted in this life.
يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّى
Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term.
Quran, Nooh 71:4
Noah calls his people to worship Allah, fear Him, and obey him. In return, Allah forgives sins and delays the end of life. This delay is a mercy: it offers a chance to return to Allah. In our daily life, asking Allah for forgiveness can help us become aware of our mistakes and turn back to Him. It invites us to seize the present time before it is too late.
Today, sincerely say: 'My Lord, forgive me' and reflect on one behavior to correct.
