الإِسْلَام
This verse invites us to choose the path of submission to Allah to find righteousness.
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلۡمُسۡلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنۡ أَسۡلَمَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوۡاْ رَشَدٗا
And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course.
Quran, Al-Jinn 72:14
In this verse, the jinn acknowledge that they are divided into two groups: those who submit to Allah and those who deviate. Those who submit are described as having sought righteousness. Submission is not a mere label; it is an active pursuit of good. Every day, we can choose this path. Submitting means aligning our actions with what Allah loves, even in small matters. This helps us avoid injustice towards ourselves and others.
Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'Does this action bring me closer to righteousness?' Then perform a small righteous deed, like telling the truth or helping someone.
