صَبْر
This verse teaches us a precious form of patience for daily life.
وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱهۡجُرۡهُمۡ هَجۡرٗا جَمِيلٗا
And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance.
Quran, Al-Muzzammil 73:10
In this verse, Allah tells the Prophet ﷺ to endure what people say and to part from them in a dignified manner. This patience is not weakness but strength that preserves inner peace. In our lives, we often face criticism or hurtful words. Instead of reacting with anger, we can choose to stay calm and politely distance ourselves. This protects our hearts and maintains good relationships.
Today, if someone says something unpleasant to you, take a deep breath, do not respond harshly, and walk away with a kind word or a dignified silence.
