صَبْر
This verse invites us to leave the fate of those who deny the truth to Allah.
وَذَرۡنِي وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِي ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِيلًا
And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little.
Quran, Al-Muzzammil 73:11
In this verse, Allah addresses the Prophet ﷺ, telling him to leave the matter of those who deny the message to Him. The Prophet is not to retaliate or respond. He is simply to be patient and rely on Allah. In our daily lives, when someone hurts us with their words, we can follow this example: not to respond, but to walk away with dignity and leave judgment to Allah. This is a form of active patience.
Today, if someone says something hurtful to you, respond with silence or a kind word, then walk away with dignity.
