صَبْرٌ
This verse teaches us a key attitude for our faith.
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورٗا
So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever].
Quran, Al-Insaan 76:24
Allah commands the Prophet ﷺ to be patient with His decree, meaning to accept with constancy what He has decided. He also forbids him from obeying sinners and disbelievers. The previous verse reminds that Allah sent down the Quran, and the next one invites to mention His name morning and evening. In our daily lives, we meet people who push us to disobey. This verse encourages us to remain firm in obedience to Allah, even under such pressure.
Today, when you are tempted to follow advice contrary to your faith, remember this verse and choose obedience to Allah.
