ذِكْرُ اسْمِ رَبِّكَ
This verse invites us to invoke the name of our Lord at specific times of the day.
وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلٗا
And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening.
Quran, Al-Insaan 76:25
In this verse, Allah asks us to mention His name in the morning and in the afternoon. These moments frame the day and offer pauses to turn to Him. The previous verse speaks of patience with divine decrees, and the next one mentions prostration at night. Thus, daily remembrance is linked to trust in Allah. In our modern life, we can take a few moments in the morning and afternoon to remember Allah. This can be a simple phrase like 'Bismillah' or a short supplication. These pauses help us stay connected to our faith throughout the day.
Today, upon waking and in the early afternoon, say a simple invocation like 'Bismillah' or 'Alhamdulillah' to remember Allah.
