ذِكْرَى
This verse mentions the possibility that a reminder may benefit the one who hears it.
أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him.
Quran, Abasa 80:4
In this passage, the Quran mentions two possibilities for a person who comes to listen: that he seeks to purify himself, or that he is reminded and the reminder benefits him. The verse does not describe a certainty, but a real chance. This invites us to consider that sharing a reminder can be useful, even if we do not know how it will be received. We can offer a good word, without expecting an immediate result.
Today, share with someone a verse or a useful word, leaving it to Allah to make it benefit whom He wills.
