تَذْكِير
This verse invites us to remind of good, but with wisdom.
فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
So remind, if the reminder should benefit.
Quran, Al-A'laa 87:9
The verse links the reminder to a condition: it is beneficial when the person is ready to listen. The previous verse promises an easy path, and the next one specifies that he who fears Allah will remember. Thus, the reminder is not an obligation without discernment, but an action adapted to receptiveness. In daily life, this means observing whether our advice can help. Sometimes silence is wiser. We can choose the right moment and the right way to share a reminder, without insisting when it does not serve.
Today, before reminding someone, ask yourself if it will be useful; if so, do it with gentleness.
