تَقْدِيم
This verse shows the regret of one who did not act for his future life.
يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
Quran, Al-Fajr 89:24
On the Last Day, man will remember his deeds, but it will be too late. He will regret not having sent forward good deeds for his future life. This verse reminds us that we are responsible for our preparation. Each day, we can choose actions that matter for our future. A simple act of kindness, a gentle word, or a moment of gratitude to Allah are precious provisions.
Today, perform a sincere good deed, even a small one, like helping someone or making a supplication, with your future life in mind.
