The Pen that Teaches

This verse reminds us that writing is a divine gift.

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ

Quran, Al-Alaq 96:4

In this passage, Allah is described as the One who taught by the pen. He gave humanity the means to write and transmit knowledge. The following verse clarifies that He taught man what he did not know. Thus, writing is an essential tool for learning and sharing.

Today, we can use writing to acquire and spread useful knowledge. Whether by taking notes, writing a message, or reading, every act of writing can be a way to honor this gift.
