Encouraging to Feed the Poor

This verse invites us to reflect on our attitude towards the less fortunate.

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ

and does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

Quran, Al-Maa'un 107:3

This verse describes a blameworthy attitude: not encouraging the feeding of the poor. It is part of a passage that mentions the behavior of one who drives away the orphan and neglects helping the needy.
