Pray and Offer in Gratitude

This verse invites us to respond to Allah’s blessings with prayer and sacrifice.

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنۡحَرۡ

So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].

Quran, Al-Kawthar 108:2

In Surah Al-Kawthar, Allah reminds that He has granted the Prophet ﷺ abundance. The central verse draws a consequence: pray and sacrifice for Him. It is not an isolated command but a response of thankfulness.

Every blessing can become an opportunity to turn to Allah. Prayer and sacrifice express our dependence and gratitude. Today, we can make this concrete by performing a prayer with sincerity.
