Dhikr and remembrances

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَكَأَنَّمَا نُشِطَ مِنْ عِقَالٍ، فَانْطَلَقَ يَمْشِي، وَمَا بِهِ قَلَبَةٌ، فَأَوْفَوْهُمْ جُعْلَهُمُ الَّذِي صَالَحُوهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: اقْتَسِمُوا، فَقَالَ الَّذِي رَقِيَ: لَا نَفْعَلُ حَتَّى نَأْتِيَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ .

Glory be to Allah, and may Allah be blessed, Lord of the Mighty Throne, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ .

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ، وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ.

There is no god but Allah, the Most Great, the Most Compassionate. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the sublime Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the noble Throne.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ .

There is no god but Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Generous. Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ! مَا يَبْلُغُ الْغُرُورُ بِالْعَبْدِ، وَقَدْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِقَوْمِهِ: أَئِفْكًا آلِهَةً دُونَ اللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ - فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Glory be to Allah! Just as illusion cannot mislead the servant, so Ibrâhîm (peace be upon him) said to his people: "Will you worship, instead of Allah, idols that have no power to harm or benefit you? What do you think of the Lord of all the worlds?" [Sûrat As-Sâffât, 86-87]

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، أَمَرَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ أَنْ يُخْرِجُوهُمْ، فَيَعْرِفُونَهُمْ بِعَلَامَةِ آثَارِ السُّجُودِ، وَحَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ مِنِ ابْنِ آدَمَ أَثَرَ السُّجُودِ، فَيُخْرِجُونَهُمْ قَدِ امْتُحِشُوا فَيُصَبُّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ مَاءٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَاءُ الْحَيَاةِ، فَيَنْبُتُونَ نَبَاتَ الْحَبَّةِ فِي حَمِيلِ السَّيْلِ .

There is no god but Allah. He commands the angels to bring them out [of the Fire], and they recognize them by the mark of the traces of prostration. Allah has forbidden the Fire from consuming the trace of prostration on the son of Adam. So they are brought out, scorched, then water called "the water of life" is poured over them, and they grow again as the seed grows in the bed of the stream.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ! مَاذَا أَهْلَكَتْ هَذِهِ النُّكْتَةُ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ؟ وَكَمْ أَزَالَتْ غُبَارَ نِعْمَةٍ؟ وَكَمْ جَلَبَتْ مِنْ نِقْمَةٍ؟ وَمَا أَكْثَرَ الْمُغْتَرِّينَ بِهَا الْعُلَمَاءِ وَالْفُضَلَاءِ، فَضْلًا عَنِ الْجُهَّالِ، وَلَمْ يَعْلَمِ الْمُغْتَرُّ أَنَّ الذَّنْبَ يَنْقَضُّ وَلَوْ بَعْدَ حِينٍ، كَمَا يَنْقَضُّ السُّمُّ، وَكَمَا يَنْقَضُّ الْجُرْحُ الْمُنْدَمِلُ عَلَى الْغِشِّ وَالدَّغَلِ.

Glory to Allah! How many creatures has this simple fault destroyed? How many traces of blessings has it erased? How many punishments has it attracted? How many scholars and people of virtue—let alone the ignorant—have been deceived by it! And the heedless do not know that sin will eventually strike, even after a time, as poison spreads, as a wound that seemed healed reopens through deceit and treachery.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَا هَذَانِ؟ قَالَا لِي: انْطَلِقِ انْطَلِقْ.

Glory to Allah! What are these two? He was told: Advance, advance.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ! مَا هَذَانِ؟ فَقَالَا لِي: انْطَلِقِ انْطَلِقْ.

Glory to Allah! What are these two? Then they (the angels) said to me: "Proceed, proceed."
