Daily invocations

رَبَّنا " وفي رواية " كان إذا فَرَغَ من طعامِه " وقال مرّة " إذا رفع مائدته قال: الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَفانا وأرْوَانا غَيْرَ مَكْفِيّ ولا مَكْفُورٍ ".

O our Lord! Praise be to Allah Who has satisfied us and quenched our thirst, without our being sated or ungrateful.

اللَّهُمَّ أطْعَمْتَ وَسَقَيْتَ، وَأغْنَيْتَ وأقْنَيْتَ، وَهَدَيْتَ وأحييت، فَلَكَ الحَمْدُ على ما أعطيت ".

O Allah, You have nourished and given us drink, enriched and bestowed upon us, guided and granted us life. To You belongs all praise for what You have given.

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَنا فِيهِ وأطْعِمْنا خَيْراً مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ سَقاهُ اللَّهُ تعالى لَبَناً فَلْيَقُلِ: اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَنا فِيهِ وَزِدْنا مِنْهُ، فإنَّهُ ليس شئ يجزئ منَ الطَّعامِ وَالشَّرَابِ غَيْرَ اللَّبَ

O Allah, bless him for us and grant us better than this. (And whoever Allah has given to drink milk, let him say:) O Allah, bless it for us and increase it for us, for nothing replaces food and drink like milk.

اللَّهُمَّ بارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيما رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ ".

O Allah, bless them in what You have granted them, forgive them and have mercy on them.

اللَّهُمَّ أطْعِمْ مَنْ أطْعَمَنِي، وَاسْقِ مَنْ سَقانِي ".

O Allah, nourish the one who nourished me and give drink to the one who gave me drink.

اللَّهُمَّ أمْتِعْهُ بِشَبابِه، فمرّتْ عليه ثمانون سنةً لم يرَ شعرةً بيضاء " .

O Allah, grant him benefit in his youth, for eighty years have passed over him without a single white hair appearing.

اللَّهُمَّ جَمِّلْهُ، قال الراوي: فرأيته ابن ثلاث وتسعين أسود الرأس واللحية " .

O Allah, adorn him.

اللَّهُمَّ آتِنا في الدُّنيا حَسَنَةً وفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ".

O Allah, grant us a goodly portion in this world and a goodly portion in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ إِني أسألُكَ خَيْرَها وَخَيْرَ ما جَبَلْتَها عَلَيْهِ ، وأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرّها وَشَرِّ ما جَبَلْتَها ما جبلتها عَلَيْهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for her good and the good for which You created her, and I seek refuge in You from her evil and the evil for which You created her.

اللَّهُمَّ وبِحَمْدِكَ، أشْهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إِلاَّ أنْتَ، أسْتَغْفِرُكَ وأتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ، إِلاَّ غُفِرَ لَهُ ما كَانَ في مَجْلِسِهِ ذلكَ " قال الترمذي: حديث حسن صحيح.

O Allah, by Your praise, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You. May the sins committed in this gathering thus be forgiven.
