Daily invocations

اللَّهُمَّ كمَا أريْتَنا أوّلَهُ فأرِنا آخِرَهُ، ثم يُعطيه مَنْ يكونُ عندَه من الصبيان " .

O Allah, as You have shown us its beginning, show us its end, then grant it to one of the children present.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أُحاوِلُ، وبك أقاتل، (*) =

O Allah, it is by You that I begin, and by You that I strive.

رَبَّنا ما خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلاً سُبْحانَكَ فَقِنا عَذَابَ النَّار) آلإلى آخر الآيات، لحديث ابن عباسٍ رضي الله عنهما المخرّج في " صحيحيهما " أنَّ رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) قال ذلك، وقد سب

O our Lord, You have not created all this in vain. Glory be to You! Protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أسألُكَ خَيْرَهُ وَخَيْرَ مَا جُبِلَ عَلَيْهِ، وَأعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ ما جُبِلَ عَلَيْهِ.

O Allah, I ask You for his good and the good of that for which he was created, and I seek refuge in You from his evil and the evil of that for which he was created.

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هادِياً مَهْدِيّاً ".

O Allah, strengthen him and make him a rightly guided guide.

اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ رِعْلاً وَذَكْوَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ عَصَتِ الله ورسوله "، وهذه ثلاث قبائل من العرب.

O Allah, curse Ri’l, Dhakwân, and ‘Usayya, who disobeyed Allah and His Messenger—these three are Arab tribes.

رَبَّنا اطْمِسْ على أمْوَالِهِمْ وَاشْدُدْ على قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلا يُؤْمِنُوا ... ) الآيةوفي هذا الاستدلال نظر، وإن قلنا: إنَّ شرعَ من قبلنَا شرعٌ لنا.

O our Lord, destroy their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe… (Qur’an, 10:88).

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إنْ شِئْتَ، لِيَعْزِمِ المَسألةَ، فإنَّهُ لا مُكْرِهَ لَهُ ".

O Allah, have mercy on me if You will, so that I may persist in my plea, for You are not compelled.

اللَّهُمَّ آتِنا في الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً وفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ " زاد مسلم في روايته قال: " وكان أنس إذا أرادَ أن يدعوَ بدعوة دعا بها، فإذا أرادَ أن يدعوَ بدعاء دعا بها فيه.

O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. Muslim adds in his version: Anas, when he wished to supplicate, would formulate it thus. And if he wished to make another supplication, he would include it within this one.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِني، وَعافِني، وَارْزُقْني " وفي رواية أُخرى لمسلم عن طارق: " أنه سمع النبيّ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وأتاه رجل فقال: يا رسول الله، كيف أقول حين أسألُ ربِّي؟ قال: قُلِ اللَ

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, protect me, and provide for me.
